Hernando's Pizza Pub: Best Pizza

This is in my opinion the best pizza anywhere I have ever been. It is located in Winter park and is absolutley awesome. The service is pretty good as well and the prices are very reasonable for quality pizza. We get the white garlic type pizza with no red sauce and it is absolutley wonderful. Go there if you can.

Colorado Avalanche-Nhl Hockey: Hockey

Hockey in this town just isn't quite what it used to be. My husband tells me the salary cap and hold out has hurt us. Whatever that means. I just know it is a darn good time to go to an Avalanche game. When that building is full at a hockey it is really rocking and the players really fly up and done the ice it is surprising.

My husband went to Rocky Mountain High School and that is were he spent all his 4 years. I met him when I was still in highschool. I knew many people from Rocky and they all were great kids and I hear there were a lot less click type stuff going on at Rocky and that they had some really great Teachers. That is where Tyler insists our kids should go.

Furniture Row Shopping Center: furniture

This is your alternative if you are not a fan of American Furniture Warehouse. They dont have quite the selection that American Furniture Warehouse does but they do have some similar prices and compete that way. They have some quality pieces and the sales people are not quite as pushy here.

This in my opinion if far and away the best steak in Denver. They have great appetizers and even better entrees and their mashed potatoes are to die for. They are usually pretty busy but the servers and bussers and all that do a great job to keep things rolling and take care of you. It is a very pricey place to eat though.

Marriott-City Center: Favorite Hotel

This Hotel isn't extravagent by any means but it is right in the heart of downtown denver so it is a great place to stay for a weekend and do everything denver has to offer. It is literally just a few blocks from the 16th street mall and it is a very short drive to a rockies or nuggets game. Awesome!

This is such a fun idea for a yogurt shop. I love that it is set up to be self serve and you can make yours just the way you like it. Choose multiple flavors and multiple toppings plus you get to sample everything ahead of time. The employees here are very friendly and offer great suggestions on what to choose.

Elways is a high end steakhouse. There is all kinds of Elway memoribilla everywhere and if you are a Broncos fan you will absolutley love it. If you aren't a Broncos fan you will still love it because it tastes absolutley fantastic. Service is good people are friendly and if you havent gone your missing out.

This is a fun place to go in Denver when you have somewhat of a larger group all getting together to hang out. It isn't over priced and it doesn't seem to ever be over crowded. It's not a large bowling alley yet there is plenty of room for everyone to sit down and socialize in between plays. We always have fun here.

Who doesn't love a great candy shop. This one is it, they offer every candy you could possibly think of and more. The prices here are very affordable. It is hard to go into this store with my kids and have them understand that we just aren't going to get everything. They would stay here forever if we let them.
